... And how following their lead - right now - could easily triple your money within the next six months!

Dear reader:

Every few years, the UN publishes their World Water Development Report...

... Collaborated with the heads of 26 nations, this 500+ page report updates the status of our rapidly-dwindling fresh water supply, as well as outlines all ideas to solve the impending crisis.

Since 2003, when the report first released to the public, the news continues to be extremely grim.

Scratch that.

Their findings are downright depressing.

Truth is, as I write this, roughly 1.5 billion people - more than 22% of the world's population - lack safe drinking water.

And before their latest report, released in March, that number was only supposed to multiply over the coming years.

Fortunately, that's all quietly, yet rapidly changing. And it's about to make every investor in-the-know extremely wealthy.

You see, thanks to one currently under-the-radar company's revolutionary technology, we could soon feasibly create safe drinking water for every single person on the planet.

In fact, it's so cutting-edge that Forbes recently claimed, "[This] innovative technology can redefine the rules of supply and demand and change the marketplace."

Business Week calls it, "The Hot Commodity of the 21st Century."

And get this... not only is their top-secret process over 98% energy efficient, they're creating water - right now - for several-times cheaper than even their closest competition.

But as good as that sounds, it's their most recent news that's caught the attention of heavy-swinging investors.

I'm talking about firms like Berkshire Hathaway and T. Rowe Price... heck, even the Obama Administration and Big Oil are drooling over this company.

And they're all loading up for different reasons:

They're in it for the same exact reasons you should be...

Because this outfit's recently gained an unexpected, massive boost in momentum... One that could - quite literally - triple investors' money over the next few months.

I've written this letter to show you exactly how you can take advantage of it before it's too late.

But first, let me fill you in on how this global water monopoly - one that's rapidly transforming into the hottest ticket of the 21st century - emerged.

You see, it's all a part of...

A Worldwide Epidemic with Billion-Dollar Solutions

The International Water Management Institute estimates 33% of the world's population will live in countries with water scarcity by 2025. That simply means that in less than 20 years, we won't be able to pretend water shortages are only confined to the Third World.

In fact, there are already plenty of developed countries where water is too scarce to satisfy the needs of the population.

It's a function of rising population and demand. There are perpetually more people that constantly want more water. And soon, there won't be enough water to meet demand.

That's when you'll make a fortune on the one company that can satiate global water demand for pennies on the dollar.

Just take a look at a chart comparing growing world population to the rate of water consumption, according to a recent study from Global Water Intelligence:

20090415-chart1

It's plain to see that water consumption is growing exponentially in relation to population.

But the amount of water we have access to has always remained the same... yet we constantly need more of it to grow more food, raise more livestock, and provide more energy for a constantly growing population.

And the reservoir is about to run dry in a very real way. Take a look at what constant withdraws are doing to once-full reservoirs around the world:

20090415 chart4

The company I'm going to tell you about has the ability to refill those reservoirs by exploiting a largely untapped resource. And they can do it affordably while stomping out the competition.

And their breakthrough couldn't have come at a better time. In fact...

Here's How The Water Crisis Is Hitting Home

After three years of dry winters, California's reservoirs are at their lowest levels since 1992. And over half the state's land area is currently under drought conditions.  Here's a chart recently published in the Wall Street Journal.

20090415 chart3

What's more, California's Sacramento-San Joaquin river system currently tops American Rivers' "Most Endangered Rivers" list, which puts 25 million Californians and more than 5 million acres of farmland at risk.

And just this February, Governor Schwarzenegger declared a drought emergency for the state.

Now, for the first time in 15 years, Los Angeles is being forced to ration water...

As a result, water is becoming the state's largest "cash crop."

The state has re-activated its Drought Water Bank program, which allows farmers to sell some of the water they'd normally use for their crops to thirstier cities, counties, and agricultural districts.

To put it simply, water has become a more valuable commodity to many California farmers than their own crops... which may not be so frightening if the state weren't the largest producer of food and agricultural products in the country.

Needless to say, if food production suffers, we all suffer. And the company I'm about to tell you about can alleviate that worry while providing handsome returns to its investors.

It's a sure bet, because the problem doesn't stop in California...

Water shortage is hardly limited to the West Coast. Just take a look at this drought monitoring map recently released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture:

usdroughtmonitor

Drought conditions are persistent in the South, along the East Coast, even near the Great Lakes. To make matters worse, the driest areas are all bordering unusable saltwater...

And while removing the salt is an option, desalination can cost about three times more than traditional methods.

According to a recent report by the respected Lux Research, “the global desalinated water supply will grow at a CAGR of 9.5% over the next decade, reaching 54 billion m3/year (cubic meters per year) in 2020... or triple what it had been in 2008.”

And the company you'll learn about with the Alternative Energy Speculator will capture over 60% of that market share and over 60% of those profits.

What's more, according to another industry report, “the desalination market will generate expenditure in the region of $95 billion by 2015.”

Getting 60% of that spending means potential revenues of $57 billion in the next five years.

And you can be a ground floor shareholder of the company Wall Street will soon be salivating over.

On top of that, it takes about 14 kilowatt-hours of energy to desalinate 1,000 gallons of seawater. Keep in mind the average American uses between 80 to 100 gallons every day...

So, satisfying the country's demand with desalination would require 100 extra electric power plants... each with a gigawatt of capacity.

That's why only 10-13 billion gallons of water are desalinated each day, worldwide. That may sound like a lot, but it's only .26% of the global demand.

Of course, that means the desalination industry has huge potential for growth... 99.74% of the market share is still up for grabs!

And here's how you can get a piece of this action...

How to Think - And Profit -
Just Like Big Oil

Now, I obviously don't need to tell you just how important water is...

Every living thing needs water to survive, and there's no substitute for it.

And while most would agree that water is a basic human right, to truly profit from it, you have to approach this water crisis the way Big Oil is right now... by buying up shares while they're cheap, and holding it until the price skyrockets because of scarcity.

It's easy to overlook, but water and energy are very tightly linked.

Bottom line: Without water, it's impossible to generate energy. Whether it's nuclear, hydro, coal, or oil - abundant supplies of water are absolutely necessary when it comes to generating energy. Take a look:

The World Business Council for Sustainable Development actually released a study on this very issue last March. They found demand for energy drives demand for more water, and demand for more water drives demand for more energy. It's a never-ending spiral.

And Congress is about to require water consumptions studies before any new power plants can be built.

Black Gold, Blue Gold... The Profits Just Keep Coming

The fact is water is a commodity just like oil. And just like oil, water is extremely finite.

Difference is, we can live without oil. We can't without water.

And just like oil, the more scarce water becomes, the higher the price...

Los Angeles' water utility, for instance, is just one of several to raise rates on consumers who don't reduce their water usage by 15%. And several cities - including Tampa, FL; Atlanta, GA; and Lubbock, TX - have placed restrictions on lawn sprinkler use and car washing.

If that wasn't bad enough, the major oil companies are swooping up existing water rights at an alarming pace - before farmers and residential communities can get to them...

In other words, they're buying up local water futures, potentially dehydrating entire cities!

In Colorado, for example, Shell, ExxonMobil, and other energy companies are already entitled to more than 6.5 billion gallons of water per day during peak river flows. Not to mention the rights to reservoir 1.7 million acre feet of water, which is enough to supply metro Denver for six years.

Sure, Big Oil is leasing some of their water supply to others in the area for now...

But if they start extracting millions of barrels of oil every day - and the government estimates there are 800 billion barrels of oil under the Rocky Mountain West alone - these companies won't have to worry about water shortages breaking their stride.

And even if the area residents get their way and that oil is never fully exploited, water shortages in the West aren't going to disappear. So, Big Oil will just go from selling black gold to blue gold.

Either way, they rake in the profits... and you can too.

Big Oil is making an investment now that will reap big returns later. And quite frankly, they're right on the money.

You see, making money from water is a simple case of supply and demand...

Oil prices rise and fall with supply - if an oil tanker is hijacked, for instance, the cost of oil will rise.

But unlike oil, only demand for water goes up. The supply always remains the same.

The population may be increasing exponentially every second, but 97.5% of the world's water supply is permanently off limits...

Or at least it was. You see, there's one company with...

An All-Access Pass to the World's Water Supply

One company with the technology to increase desalination capacity while cutting desalination costs by as much as 83%.

That's right, this company's exclusive product provides a sustainable, secure supply of water for just $0.70 per cubic-meter...

Just look at the prices consumers pay per cubic-meter in major cities:

There's no comparison.

And there's little wonder why this company's market share rocketed 151% between 2006 and 2007 (and that was after a 51% leap between 2005 and 2006).

Now, this company is poised to dominate the entire water industry. No other company has the technology to compete...

It may seem incredible, but this little-known company actually has a literal ocean of profits at its fingers...

How to Cash in on the "Energy-Water Nexus"

This little-known company is the secret to turning the "Energy-Water Nexus" into a wave of profits for yourself.

You see, the "Energy-Water Nexus" is the relationship between the two commodities...

And between climate change and population spikes, the relationship is growing strained. That's why Big Oil is already buying up water rights under the radar.

But this one company (whose name I'll give you in just a moment) has uncovered a method for extracting more water for less energy.

And now this company... and it's shareholders are making a fortune off the energy companies, governments, and agricultural industries desperate to get their hands on this breakthrough.

GE, Veolia, and Doosan (just to name a few) are already in. And if you want to secure your share of this thing too - well, there's no time to waste.

In fact, here's the catch: The longer you wait to stake your position, the less money you'll make. Plain and simple.

That's why today is your shot at an easy double... maybe even a triple.

Because tomorrow may be too late. Another lucrative contract could be announced. Or a Wall Street behemoth could decide to buy large blocks of shares, pushing the stock much higher and out of reach.

And that means today is when you need to get in.

This company is solidifying its global water monopoly each and every day. Those who take their position earliest will make the biggest gains.

So, here's everything you need to know to make your move today...

The Only Stock You Need to Profit...

This tiny company has perfected a method of producing more freshwater for less energy. It's as simple as that.

In fact, this company's revolutionary technology is 98% energy efficient and cuts energy costs by 60% compared to the competition.

That's why heavy hitters like Hyflux, Degrémont Suez, GE, and other companies around the world are partnering with this company for their own projects.

And it's also why this company has seen 55% growth every year since 2002...

That's 6 years of steady profits and counting! And just take a look at the company's revenue growth record:

20090415 chart2

Even in 2008's shaky market, this company turned a massive profit. It was actually a record-breaking year. The company's net profit in 4th quarter 2008 alone was more than their total earnings in all of 2006...

That's because demand for water never dips, even if the economy does. It only goes up.

And this company is the best way for you to profit from this endless growth market.

I want to give you the name of this innovative company now so you can start reaping the gains as soon as possible. But first, let me introduce myself...

A Winner a Week in 2009

My name is Nick Hodge, and I'm the managing editor and investment director of the Alternative Energy Speculator.

In 2008 and early 2009 - during one of the absolute worst markets in recorded history - I helped investors avoid the pitfalls of this full-blown market meltdown, while successfully leading them to double- and triple-digit gains in the alternative energy sector.

From a 110% gain on a Chinese solar player to a 262% gain on a tiny thin-film solar company (a recommendation that few on Wall Street even knew existed), Alternative Energy Speculators were cashing in while the Dow nose-dived into oblivion... and Wall Street ran for cover.

What's more, we've cashed out 44 winners this year...that means once a week, I send you an email reminding you to collect your gains.

See for yourself: here's a list of the gains Alternative Energy Speculators clocked so far in 2009...

I'm confident now that this overlooked company I've been telling you about will be the next on my list of successful picks.

That's why I've made it the focus of my brand-new special report: Blue Gold: Profiting from the "Energy-Water Nexus."

This report contains everything you need to know about the company - from its technological secrets to its upcoming projects - and explains exactly why it's the most lucrative water play on the market.

And best of all, it's absolutely free!

Once you've got your free copy, you'll learn how to use all this information to your advantage - you'll pounce at just the right time and turn this stock pick into a very long and profitable run.

Of course, this is nothing new for the Alternative Energy Speculator.

Just take a look at some of the gains my readers have cashed in during this global recession:

And there are plenty more to come...

Believe me, the stock I'm going to reveal to you in my free special report is just the tip of the iceberg.

In fact, at this very moment, we have 7 new stocks in our queue. And that's on top of the 44 winning positions we've already closed in 2009 and the dozen or so others that we're sitting on, just waiting for them to surge higher.

That means at any moment, we're going to issue as many as 7 new recommendations... across all sectors of the renewable energy industry.

And that's why I want to send you my free report, Blue Gold: Profiting from the "Energy-Water Nexus," right away - so you can claim each and every one of these upcoming gains, starting NOW.

And all you have to do to claim your place in this growing market today is accept a no-risk charter membership to the Alternative Energy Speculator.

Not only will you have access to the special report immediately...

But you'll also receive a username and password for the Alternative Energy Speculator web site. This will give you unlimited access to past issues, help you keep track of the stocks in our portfolio, and allow you to read all of our other reports, including...

In addition to these reports, every week you'll also receive detailed updates on the companies in the Alternative Energy Speculator's portfolio. You'll learn how they're doing, the latest in their research, and any breakthroughs that come through in the sector.

Plus, the second we decide to add or sell a company, I'll contact you - instantly.

You'll know at what price to get in, how much you should expect to make and, most importantly, when to sell.

These instant alerts are simply too important for the weekly issue.

Now, with all the time that goes into uncovering these little-known energy plays found in the Alternative Energy Speculator, and the substantially larger gains involved, we had no choice but to make it somewhat pricier than our flagship Green Chip Stocks service.

In other words, we had to cover our own cost of unearthing these gems. Since we do a great deal of travel, meet with CEOs, and inspect many of the companies with our own eyes, it tends to get pricey... especially when you consider how many opportunities we turn down before we actually find one worth getting excited about.

That's why the membership fee to the Alternative Energy Speculator is $499 a year... But with 44 winning picks so far this year - on pace for more than 60 in 2009 - that translates into only $8.00 per winning recommendation.

That's nothing, espcially since 38 of the closed 42 have been double baggers. You'd pay $8.00 to earn 40% on a stock, right? This is the same thing... only on a much bigger and more profitable scale.

Of course, you can always save money by signing up for our two-year option for just $699.  That means you won't miss a single pick or buy/sell recommendation for two years. And even better: no annoying renewal notices.

And what's more...

I'll even throw in a copy of my newly-released book: Investing in Renewable Energy: Making Money on Green Chip Stocks, which I co-authored with energy experts Jeff Siegel and Chris Nelder (a $27.95 value).

So, here's the final tally:

All for just $499 if you accept this offer today!

And here's my promise to you:

I will give you 30 days to examine our top-notch research and investment philosophy. If you decide that the Alternative Energy Speculator is not for you at any time during this trial period, simply let me know in the first 30 days, and I'll completely reimburse you every penny. That's right - every penny.

You can even keep the book. It's my gift to you.

P.S. This stock is currently trading at a significant discount... hovering in the $4.00 to $8.00 range. But remember, the company behind it holds they key to abundant and affordable clean water for the entire world - and shares will soon be priced accordingly. I think this is at least a $20.00 long-term stock, so getting in now could ensure walking away with a triple-digit gain... and that's on top of all the other winners you'll bag by following the Speculator's advice.
